This week and into next week, the whole school is participating in our Alien Inline program. The students have enjoyed learning how to rollerblade as well as how to do new tricks! Each day, they learn different ways they can move around the gym in safe ways. Thank you to all parents who have helped support us this week with our in-school field trip.

- I can tell you about how some Indigenous groups are governed by chiefs.
This week, the students explored the concept of leadership through thinking about the different systems around them and their leaders. They discussed the different levels of government along with some of the responsibilities at each level such as how education is provincial. The students ended the week by learning about how Indigenous groups often have a chief to look up to as their leader who makes decisions for the larger group.
